The workforce marketing company.
We are proud to be the first company in North America offering LinkedIn-certified training.

Overview

Ajax helps professionals drive business results by helping them communicate more credibly and effectively online.

Companies have traditionally "solved" communication challenges by centralizing branding and communication initiatives and then restricting others' ability to interact with stakeholders. Social media's transparent and decentralized nature is putting intense pressure on that model. With control of the message shifting away from centralized teams, there is a growing, acute need to prepare the professional employee-at-large to serve as brand amassador. We prepare organizations and their workforces for this shift in a way that makes both professional and organization more successful.

Our work generally entails four elements: an assessment of a company's social presence, coaching for its executives, marketing support, and workforce readiness/training.

Jason Seiden, Co-founder

What I bring to our clients is expertise bringing interpersonal communication best practices into an online environment... in a genuine, sustainable, scalable way.

Prior to co-founding Ajax, I spent ten years coaching corporate executives, sales professionals, and entrepreneurs on leadership and communication skills. I also taught graduate-level leadership and negotiations. Prior to consulting, I built, operated, and optimized customer-facing websites for different businesses, including RollingStone.com, where I served as Executive Producer. I started blogging in 2001, and first got involved with online business in 1994. I have written two career books along the way, including the gold-medal winning How to Self-Destruct™: Making the Least of What's Left of Your Career.

I'd be happy to talk with you about what I've seen and how it can benefit you and your company.

Vincent Gatti, Co-founder

I am a 20 year sales veteran. For the 14 years prior to co-founding Ajax, I was a top performing sales professional at CDW, ranking in the top 1/10th of 1% amongst 3000 peers. I'm proud to have mentored more than 150 of my peers, including three of CDW's current Top 10 producers.

My success came from my learning early on to commit to my work and to forge genuine, meaningful relationships with my clients. (I'm talking one-on-one, personal relationships.) When I started talking with marketers after launching Ajax, I was a bit taken aback to see how disconnected marketing can be from what's happening on the street: all that work on messaging, and no way for people to use it to use it where it counts--in actual conversation! It's exciting to be part of a company that's closing this gap.

I am a professional member of the National Speakers Association. I am co-authoring my first book with Jason. It's called "Beyond Social" and is expected to be released in 2012. .

Julie Epstein, Digital Strategist

My experience is in public relations, marketing, and—surprise!—film development. Which turns out to be a perfect mix for someone who's job it is to help companies and professionals tell their stories.

I've worked at Edelman, and briefly at Paramount Pictures and GK films. I've also launched a mobile app that makes a game out of introductions, for conference attendees. I have a Master's in Communication Management from the innovative Annenberg Program for Online Communities, plus, because I love learning, another Master's degree from USC and a Bachelor's from Princeton.

When I'm not at the office, you'll likely find me at yoga, Bar Method class, new restaurants, or back at yoga or Bar Method.

Craig Fisher, VP Sales, Recruiting

I make corporate recruiting more efficient. Specifally, I do this by making "social recruiting" a core competency of recruiters and their managers. In addition to my role at Ajax Social Media, I am also the founder of TalentNet Live, a cutting edge recruitment and employer branding conference.

I have been consulting on talent- and recruiting-related issues since 2007, working both with contract recruiters and also with major brands such as Pepsico, Raytheon, and Zappos. Previously, I spent 12 years building software project teams for clients like British Petroleum, KPMG, and Lockheed Martin as a leader in recruiting and sales for contract consulting firms Matrix Resources and Stark Talent. I began my career as a pharmaceutical representative and team lead for GlaxoSmithKilne.

In addition to my conference and consulting work, I maintain one of the social search community's most popular blogs, and have been a featured speaker at recruiting, HR, and social media events around the world.

David "D. Fish" Fisher, Trainer

I didn't cut my teeth learning sales and networking, I cut my hands. Literally. I honed my craft at Cutco Cutlery by cutting pennies and rope in people's kitchens. I was a top national salesperson, and as a trainer I helped produce more top sales representatives from the over 1,500 people who I put through the program. My mission now is to take what I've learned as both practitioner and trainer, and use it to help people become rock stars in their personal and professional lives.

In addition to training large sales organizations through Ajax Social Media, I also provide networking and business development coaching to individual salespeople, small business owners, entrepreneurs, and "solopreneur service providers" (graphic designers, copywriters, attorneys, etc.).

I played the drums in a band for many years, and though I don't play as much anymore, everyone still uses the nickname I earned back then. So the next time we chat, feel free to call me D. Fish...

We would love to share some of our research + insights with you.
